I ride a bicycle. I have a dog. I know that when I'm on a shared path or riding through an off leash dog park, I need to slow down. So why can't other bikers do the same???
My dog Beni doesn't usually bat an eyelid when cyclists go past, unless they happen to be racing at 30kmh. Then he gets scared and starts barking at and chasing after them. At which point cyclists either keep calm and carry on, or, and this has happened a few times, get very very irate. I'll let you know if it comes to a punch on!
In the meantime, I should probably teach Beni to ride his own bike like this dog in Japan.
